Our products were designed by Lucien Ducret, the inventor of the famous Roto-Split® BX Cable cutter. He developed the tool while rewiring a room in his first house. After learning that there were no tools to cut BX cable except a clumsy hacksaw, he began to think that there had to be a better way so he invented the Roto-Split! DCL Tech continues his tradition of designing and producing innovative products.
Lucien C Ducret, the inventor of the Roto-Split was the founder of Seatek Co. and DCL Tech. He will be greatly missed by family and friends. We are proud of his contribution to the the electrical industry, you can read his obituary by clicking here to learn about his life and accomplishments.
